I am a member of both Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and also Delta SkyMiles (w/Platinum Medallion status). It looks like I can get a much better fare to Europe booking a DL operated flight using my VS points. My questions is: If I book a Delta operated flight using points from my Virgin Atlantic account, can I then upgrade my class of service using my Delta points? Also, would Delta recognize my Medallion status (and associated benefits) even though I booked the flight via Virgin? Thanks for any insights you might be able to share
