Fasting to recover from jet lag

There are these fasting prayer sessions for core disciples before an upcoming 4d3n camp, which lasts during typical mealtimes. I am expected to land just a few hours before the camp from a long haul flight with a seven hour time difference. This has raised a thought that I can pick fasting prayer sessions which help me adjust to the new time zone, as this is just beneficial to prepare myself to go into the camp. Flight is AMS 12:30 -> HKG 07:30+1, but I still have another flight the day before with an overnight hotel layover in AMS (HEL 18:10 -> AMS 19:50).

I can have the option of the 16-hour fast, which starts at 10:00 in AMS (with a late breakfast), as I consider 09:00 as my time of breaking the fast as it’s the normal time after my university morning prayer meetings. This will give me two sessions for lunch and dinner on the day, then once I have my breakfast in HK, I am already in HK time.
The second option involves having a larger lunch at 13:00 in HEL (19:00 in HKG) and fast during dinner on the first flight. I will then have a very early breakfast at 06:00 AMS (13:00 HKG), and lunch at 11:00 AMS (18:00 HKG) before I get on the flight. My next meal will be 09:00 in HKG, thus shifting the time zone back to HK time 2 days early. This will also give me two sessions, which are both dinners.
I will also refrain from using the IFE during the mealtimes, except for some light music on the audio channels.

Are there any other fasting diets or methods to combat this kind of jet lag?
