You'd think so, but the Hyatt confirmation emails seem to say no points or EQN for the stay. There's a thread about it on reddit also with some screenshots of the confirmation email, saying "Discounted Rate Rate [sic] is not eligible to earn points and tier credit".
@Traveling_Salamander If you still have the booking, I would suggest reaching out to your concierge or support and see what they say...and if you do, please report back and let us know what they say!
Generally speaking - If Hyatt has a rate that does not earn points or EQN’s that has to be disclosed in the rate rules at the time of booking. They can’t just sneak it into the confirmation email fine print.
Though in this situation I agree it does say that in the confirmation email, yet nowhere on Hyatt.com.

I made a booking just to see what it would show and it did show it in the fine print, just nowhere on Hyatt.com. I’m pretty sure it has to be disclosed at the time of booking though.
I would contact
[email protected] and let them know this information that it’s an advertised rate in Hyatt.com and no mentions of it being an ineligible rate.
