I can't stand all the useless e-mails I get from BA. Every time I go into Manage my Booking I get an e-mail, but if the seat-shifters get to work, nada, nothing. I hate surveys of all kinds and have serious doubts that they serve any purpose, at least as far as the customer is concerned. They're carried out largely in the name of "certification" allowing the company to check the box "customer satisfaction", but more often than not the certification doesn't impose any follow-up, so the act of carrying out the survey is sufficient.
Much to the amusement of the cabin crew at the time, when we still had to fill in paper surveys, I once wrote "If you are really interested in my opinion, please call me on this number .....", leaving the rest of the survey blank. Needless to say no-one ever called.
