Billing error
Hey all I’m looking for some advice on billing.
I bought some return F tickets to JFK on the last day of the sale (06NOV24). Trip is due in February.
The transaction appeared as pending on my Amex then disappeared.
I have called Amex who advised they are awaiting BA to request the funds.
I called YouFirst who confirmed the flight has been ticketed and everything from their end looks fine- the tickets appear as paid, E-ticket numbers have been issued too.
Am I correct in saying they can no longer withdraw the funds as the CVV will have expired?
I’d really like to pay for these flights but no one seems to want to help and I can’t risk turning up to the airport for them to deny boarding and cancel the flights as technically we haven’t paid?
The person from YouFirst said they cannot cancel my trip as they have been ticketed and in their words “happy days” for us and not to worry… But surely this can’t be the case?
Does anyone have any advice?
