That said, I‘d argue the HR‘s main competition would be the Westin (which is huge, a bit anonymous and may not be considered luxury, but admittedly probably doesn’t label itself that) - which from my point of view wins on several aspects.
Fair! I am completely bought over to this based on a positive airbnb experience in Cape Town and multiple great experiences for B&Bs/Boutique hotels on the garden route. I still do wish Hyatt would sort out this hotel though as it's always handy to have a Hyatt for even brief stays / if you need the nights and the club offering especially represents Hyatt very poorly.
