Chase lounge PHX:
It’s about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the AA gates depending on which terminal. The walk is all airside, so no need to clear security. Head toward gate D11. The lounge is on the left.
We had to put our names on a waitlist for entry and we waited about 20 minutes. This is because the club is SMALL. I’d estimate max capacity is about 60 to 70 people. The host who put our names on the waitlist advised that we could just show our Ritz Carlton credit card at the sign in desk, rather than showing the associated Priority Pass card.
The space is inefficiently arranged, and half of it is open to the concourse, so it was very noisy at times with all of the concourse PA announcements. There’s an Airstream trailer that they’ve converted to a food service counter plus a foosball table, both of which take up a ton of space and neither gets much business. Overall the finish and furnishings are quite nice.
The food selection at the buffet is small, but good quality. The airstream serves 2 items from a local restaurant but we were not impressed with those. The bar has a wide selection of pretty much everything and the quality is good.
The wait staff is very good. Prompt and polite. Plenty of staff around, so things were served fast and cleaned up fast. They seem to have realized that they need to operate quickly given the capacity limit. We ordered wine via the QR code at our table and it was served in less than 5 minutes.
Overall I’d say it’s better than a typical Admirals Club, but the wait and noise are major issues. I'll echo what others have said that with some tweaks this could be a much better club.
