A380 vs 7x7 for long haul flights
Options:
1. BKK > DXB (1 day stopover for rest only) > GRU
7 hours and then 15 hours. Both legs on an A380 (Emirates)
22 hours total. $1,965 on Expedia.
2. BKK > ADD (1 day stopover for rest only) > GRU
8.5 hours on a 787, and then 12 hours on a 777 (Ethiopian)
20.5 hours total. $1,700 on Expedia.
Which option do you guys choose? I do poorly on long haul (6'2" 195 lbs with mild/moderate ADHD). I hear the A380 is a special experience and it tempts me despite being a little more expensive and longer flight time.
Other option may be to take the Ethiopian flights, rows 28 and 30 (787, 777) for the best Exit Row seats. Total cost $1,900 (+$230)
