It is an exceptional case where I will disagree with you.
I have only flown AF 350 with the new doors once, but am also used to several other airlines.
To me, it makes a whale of a difference.
I always recline a bit and it greatly adds to privacy when sitting, watching TV and even having drinks/dinner ((I know AF FAs do not like it).
I don't see or feel the wind of people walking in the aisle.
It might be subjective, but the door partly breaks the noise of passers by.
But each of us has their own tastes and preferences.
