I arrived at Gatwick at about 9, security was closed, but after about 15 mins it opened, went through and to the lounge. Then saw my flight to Jersey was boarding very early (11:35 departure boarding shown on the screen at 10:20), but went with it and left for the gate, people in yellow vests and police all around the main area of the terminal saying if you had a gate go to it, otherwise follow the crowd out of the building.

Went to the gate where we were sat for about 30 mins, have now boarded and just sat at the gate, there are only 12 people on the plane, was told that everyone else is landside and can’t get through as security is closed but we’re going to leave anyway.
