They assured me we would arrive, proceed through security and passport control, and still make the connection. However, when attempting online check-in this week, I found I cannot complete it and must go to the check-in desk to collect my boarding pass.I assume this is for visa verification. This leaves us with only 1 hour and 17 minutes (transfer time) to go to the check-in desk, complete security, and go through passport control. I called Air France again, and they confirmed it should be possible but offered the option to pay €200 plus any fare difference for an earlier TGV. afterwards i've read check-in closes one hour before departure, meaning we would have just 17 minutes to reach the desk after arriving. Does anyone know how long it takes to get from the train station to the check-in desk and whether this transfer is realistically possible? Any tips to save time, such as online check-in solutions or other advice, would be greatly appreciated.
What are you talking about? OLCI is impossible for a flight on 26! It opens 30 hours before departure.
There is an AF counter at ZYR. If I am not mistaken, you must go there to collect your boarding pass.
You can drop your luggage there the day before the flight. If my recollection is right, you can check your luggage on the day of departure as well. Others with experience can confirm.
Do you have skypriority?
If not, I don't see how you can walk from the station to 2E--F, check-in with your luggage then go through passport control and PIF in an hour and 15 mn without much stress (if possible at all).
