In my case it was incorrect "from the start" and corrected before the door was closed. I couldn't see exactly what the FA was doing on the console but it didn't look like she was doing enough tapping/spent enough time to enter two pairs of city codes -- it seemed more like a "settings -> restart -> OK" sequence which also explains why everything went black and took about 5 minutes to come back up -- and when it did my seat acted like I had just sat in front of it for the first time (language selection, etc., etc.)
