When I look at the ceasars website, it says you will get Platinum when you do your first purchase, but does that stay for as long as you have the card? It also mentions 5,000 tier credits, which is Platinum, each year you spend $5,000. This makes me think you need to re-earn it each year
The card gives you 10K Reward credits ($100) for the minimum spend, plus it looks like it costs about $25 a night to park at Caesars so it could add up for some.
I have no idea how status works year over year for CET credit card holders as up until 2025 we were always Diamond.
This screenshot seems to indicate cardholders get platinum status every year but I won't have any idea what my new status is until Feb 1 , it won't to us matter parking wise as we don't rent a car in Vegas.
We keep the CET credit cards as a way to keep our RC's from expiring (my wife and I transfer the max Wyndham points per year to CET) in case the surveys ever go away as we don't have a CET casino near us.
Going forward we only have one Vegas trip per year planned vs the 2-3 trips per year we used to take, reward credits expire every 6 months
