Judging from info on their website(http://tateshina.co.jp/eindex.htm), this hotel is one of those Japanese business hotels. These are so many of these around the city/country, for this price range.

Just in case you are not familiar with these Japanese business hotels,
you can stay there for business (rooms got everything hotel rooms should be equipped with, but with very tight spaces) to save expense, but you definitely don't want to take your wife there for leasure travel. Rooms are so tiny that you two will have no space left, even to walk/turn around after you put your suitcases down on the floor(if any).

But if tiny space wouldn't bother you, (now I am used to it so I stay there for my work trip. dirt cheap~ ^ ) check these hotel chains out as well. They are quite famous business hotel chains in Japan that I (and my co-workers) often use, and very reliable and clean. http://www.sunroute.jp or http://www.toyoko-inn.com
