Starting my research on hotels for my trip next year, and trying to decide whether to spend all 5 nights in Hong Kong proper or spend the last night in an airport hotel for convenience reasons for my morning flight (10:10am flight to TPE).

Aside from RC and W, seems like trying to get to airport in the morning seems to take an hour or more.

For StR/Sheraton/Park Lane (this one I'm especially curious about, Accor folks really seemed to like it despite the older hard product), is the public transit to HKG airport in the morning a hassle/risky (seems to take bit more than an hour)? Or would it be safe to take a transit at around 7am to reach the airport by around 8am?

I'm not so sure what the morning rush hour traffic is like, and what the protocol for "arrive X hrs before departure" for HKG is, and thought I'd ask here first before picking a property.
