Agreed, 100%. I bought Platinum for $99 (I think), and flew a LOT more because of it. I'll be less likely to fly without the status, as I imagine a lot of others will also be. I'm hopeful they recognize that and offer something similar to what they've done in the past... though it may take a lot of us dropping off the books (and buying fewer tickets) for that to happen.
