was upgraded to the largest standard room. Checkin staff was nice and efficient. Room was very comfortable. Had a snack and drink at rooftop bar which was packed solid. Drink and food was good but a bit pricey as expected.

Lobby area was nice with places to sit. Shower was excellent. Design of hotel was interesting.

Location: this is where it gets interesting. The andaz is a bit far out.HOWEVER, it worked to my benefit in a couple of ways. 1. I did a day trip to Bratislava and the train station is only a few minutes walk from hotel so that was incredibly convenient. 2. I wanted to visit the Belvedere Palace and that too was only several minutes walk from the hotel. Finally to go the center there. Is a nearby tam that runs directly there in like six stops, so easy to navigate. Yes the park Hyatt is more central but the andaz punches above its weight if you don’t mind the tram ride and for taking trains from Wien hbf or seeing Belvedere it’s excellent. If you want a lot going on right outside your door then park Hyatt is a better fit for sure. That being said I wouldn’t hesitate to stay heee again.
