I would like to travel from ATL to India (CCU) by Qatar's business class. For my family of 4, the cash price is coming out to be USD 36,000 (round trip). The trip is not urgent so I can wait up to a year. So, what would be my best bet to score it through Avios or other award points? I see that I currently have about 29K Avios, which I think is a peanut compared to almost 120K Avios needed just for an upgrade from Economy to Business class between ATL and DOH leg. Can anyone please throw some light on how to book such a flight ticket for 4 of us? Is there any US-issued credit card that will help me in accruing the Avios faster?
