I was there recently (early Nov) and lobby construction had just finished up. They were full swing on the building near the pool, the noise is worst when you are in the pool area is noticeable and not ideal. The plus side is that it wasn't as crowded at the resort since they have less rooms available with Tower B being renovated.

That being said, I thought the stay was great even with the construction. I can't speak to the kids club since it was a group trip with all adults. From the adult pool you can't hear the construction so that is an option if you don't have kids with you. The staff was great and service was excellent during our stay. It would be nice to have the other restaurants open, hopefully those are done by the time your stay comes around.
