The hotel is about 16yr old so there are some issues but for me it is a question of cost/benefit, also I like hotels in Macau which is part of the society. I can't say that I like to stay in Cotai, even if I visit the casinos there some times.

It is a renovation going on in the "residence" part of the hotel. I don't really hear anything from that. There are also a bigger plan for the whole building, Ponte 16, to do some major renovations. My guess, it will start 2025/2026.

When I stayed here in the spring, I was shown a couple of rooms on the lower levels, 8-9, which seems to be as not as good shape as them I have stayed on at floor 16. I asked for room change and was moved to floor 16. The lounge is on floor 17 and at floor 18 is a restaurant. As platinum+ you should get higher floor. Also, if you like a cool room, 20c, you need to argue for it. I did, and my room is now perfect. 22c - which seems to be hotel policy - is too warm for me to have a good sleep in, don't really get rid of the humidity and Macau is almost always quite humid.

There are good variations from day to day in the lounge, but not many vegetarian alternatives. They have soup (have not tried) and green hot vegetables (bok choy), besides cold sallads. But I'm sure they would bring more of them on request. They seems to be attentive to requests.

Edit. The other day they had a very good hot mushroom dish.
