The Prince Park Tower is less than 5 minutes away from a stop on the Oedo line. Okura is 5 minutes are so from the Namboku line. I would have imagined that Okura was pretty pricey as well, as it is the "Grand Old Lady" of Tokyo hotels. And was completely rebuilt for the Olympics.
"Thank you for the location information. The Okura is looking more and more like the place to stay. I’ve found more competitive rates there when compared to the Prince Gallery Hotel. It was <$1,000 less than the Prince for my 9 nights stay. It appears that non-American hotel chains are generally offering better prices. I was contemplating a ryokan, but I prefer the impersonal environment of a large hotel.
