If it's a consistent problem that doesn't get fixed by aligning names in reservations and AA account, wouldn't it be better to complain about AS not delivering what they promised?

"Hey DOT, AS sells me tickets and they promised I would earn AA miles if I gave them my AA number, but that never works."
