Briggs & Riley Baseline garment folder -- worth it?

Hi all -- I'm thinking about investing in a Briggs & Riley Baseline 21" Global Spinner carry-on in hopes of it being the last bag I'll ever need to buy, and in hopes of easier packing... I was hoping to hear from owners/people familiar with the bag about a couple of questions... thanks a bunch!
  • Does the garment folder/suiter really prevent wrinkles / keep clothes nice? How worthwhile is it?
  • When the garment folder/suiter is removed, how much can you fit in the suitcase lid compartment instead? Could it hold gym shoes and a toiletry bag?
  • Is the bag worth the cost?
Bonus question: anybody knows if it ever goes on sale, or can ever be bought through the Costco Next discount?

Thank you!
