If you make a voluntary change (and pay any fees) then the ticketing clock is reset starting on the date of the new ticket's issue. You have to do that voluntary change within the original ticketing expiry deadline. You can rinse and repeat. Whereas if it's an involuntary change (BA cancels the flight) this does not initially apply - involuntary changes are still fixed at the 365 day original ticketing date. Quite illogical but dems the rulz.
