How much money are we talking about? How many travellers out of 1,000 are travelling on BR fares? It would have been easy for AC to offer a policy that matches some of the US policies, that is, offering the lowest posted fare (removing the APEX) to travel. That might be fair.

But AC's remarks will come across as insensitive and will do damage.

I would love to see the estimate as to how much AC will save as a result of this measure.
