SQ is definitely not the best in J. While the soft product is outstanding, the hard product lags far behind many other carriers. With the ottoman off to the side, there is no way to sit comfortably in a lounging position with your feet up. You have to twist your body into a weird shape that's very uncomfortable. And don't get me started on the regional J seat on the A350 and 787-10 -- horribly cramped and uncomfortable (ironic because that's the one J seat type in their fleet that doesn't have the diagonal ottoman, and they even messed that one up).
