Just returned. We got a very nice upgrade at check-in (not something I requested) but no leis and were told about the beach charges. Last time I was there (about a year ago) there were tons of umbrellas out on the beach. This time I saw fewer than 10. I guess they figured out how to make sure that they didn't run out of space out there but it just puts more pressure for people to find seating at the swimming pools. I don't like this nickel-and-dime nonsense.
