Stayed at Mango House for 1 night after 6 nights at Waldorf Platte Island 3 weeks ago.

For a transit hotel for 1 night it was ok, but I was glad, that we didn’t booked Mango House for longer holiday stay. (Which we considered a few years ago, when it first l opened.)
The room felt humid and had a moldy smell. Mold stains were only overpainted. During online checkin, all 1 Level upgrades were chargeable, even I am Diamond and booked a Hilton for luxury rate.
We were offered a paid late checkout, because they were fully booked.
Diamond Benefits mentioned before at Flyertalk like 1 day free car rental or 2 cocktails were not offered.
Kayaks are not available anymore, they were all relocated to the nearby Canopy Hotel ( which has a much bigger beach from what we saw)
Instead of barista coffee expect to get coffee from an automatic Jura machine, because it is probably easier for them to only push one button instead of using the barista portatray machine.
The Daily complimentary offerings like cooking lessons … were




non existent or not available during our stay.
Service very slow and not motivated.
Wouldn’t stay here again, even for one night.
