It costs them nothing to allow for private transfer, well apart of loosing some profit on the sea plane transfer. On the following trips I used their sea planes and I really liked the experience, with the welcome lounge in both directions and even managed to ride twice their Bentley. But if you want to do two resorts then it is a pain to have to pay for transfer two times. I understand that there will be new Edition hotel relatively nearby St. Regis, it would be nice to be able to combine both hotels without having to connect in Male.
