Never had any issues with Air Asia. Have to be honest that as a resident in Bangkok I always fly with hand luggage only. This makes a big difference in the price. Don't see a difference between flying from DMK or BKK. By taxi both take about the same time to get to from Central Bangkok. Use my Priority Pass for using the lounges at the airport, so the obvious extra of being able to use the lounge when you fly with Bangkok Airways is canceled out.
Not exactly the BKK or Thailand thread but I am done with AirAsia now. For the first time they have started charging me for my personal item which is my laptop case. yes they say 7kgs hand carry but I have never seen anyone charge for the personal item of 2 kgs before. I did ask PAL immediately if they charge for personal item and they were very clear in saying that they do not charge for a personal item of a laptop or a handbag etc.
