240 hands an hour is pretty slow, 500 is medium...
500 hands of VP an hour would be one hand every 7.5 seconds..........since every hand has 2 draws that under 4 seconds per draw. Maybe a pro can do that, anyone else would no doubt toss and hold the wrong cards. Most people don't even know optimal VP strategy much less be able to figure it out in seconds over and over and over. Mess up even one of every hundred hands and your theoretical loss is shot
Since you described the play rate as medium I'm guessing you googled the play rate but forgot that was a professional VP player and didn't read the the last sentence.............
Experts say 500 hands per hour is around medium speed. Now cut that time in half and you're definitely fast,
I took my TC earning info info off the CET website...................

Slot machines: Earn 1 Tier Credit for every $5 you play on a reel slot machine and for every $10 you play on a video poker machine. Some machines have lower earning rates and are clearly marked.
Yes some machines are lower but traditional Jacks or better VP is 1 TC per $10 and is easy to calculate as the TC's are on the counter and increase as you play..
I thought CET had the same earning rates at every location and have no idea why RENO would be lower than Vegas, I would think they would want to give people incentive to come and RENO has an 8 X multiplier next week.....................

On another note a neighbor who I went to school with and played sports with growing up in Connecticut owned part of Oceans Resort in AC when it opened..............I think he still has a piece and a VP job........................He goes to Wynn a lot and hooks us up.........
