That was a fun year! Four times my increase that year would have been right on the edge, but fortunately I was the weakest link on my team, and we easily made it. (I was positive over the previous year in January, thanks to a work-paid CRWSTAR1...)

The promo led to a fun thread here with all the people chasing. I remember people being afraid to share real totals, since most of the competition was probably on the thread, which was far closer to true than I would have guessed!
