Connecting from international VS in business class to domestic DL in first class (737 so not a little Embraer or anything like that)

My bag is 65” total dimensions but only about 20lb. It’s acceptable on Virgin being 32” x 25” x 8”.

Delta says total dimensions not to exceed 62” and 50 lb.

Are Delta likely to let it go, or throw the book at me?!
