LH is just implementing what they have agreed with Boeing. The B779 was supposed to come end of 2025 when the deal to reactivate the A346 was made. If B confirms that the B779 are definitely not coming, LH is going to press for a substitute for the A346 solution, be it an extension of the deal (with the subsequent costs of sending the A346 for required checks) or the lease of other equipment. Either way LH is not going to file schedules for flights until the deal is done.
