I haven't been following this thread much. I'm an AvGeek who just wants to experience as many plane types as possible! I have actually been on the A346 once (TG in Y), but that aircraft did not have those distinct below deck lavatories. In contrast, I have been on the A345 five times, and A343 ad nauseam. I thought I'd fly on the LH A346, sit up front, then do a walk around in the cabin, before they are finally all gone.
All we can really say is that Summer 2025 is the last season that we know for sure the A340-600 will be flying.
Therefore; book for that season to avoid disappointment. I will probably do similarly myself. Note though that LH schedules are notoriously subject to change, so I would recommend either a semi-flex/flex ticket which permit a partial/full refund respectively in the event they change the aircraft type and you want to cancel the ticket, or to wait until next year when another round of updates filter through.
