I had Starbucks account, which has been deleted by mistake by Starbucks' incompetent staff (perhaps their customer service or IT), and it unfortunately was linked to my Marriott account when Starbucks' staff deleted it, so there is no way to remove the Marriott link on Starbucks side (they can't even look up the deleted account since it's non-existent now). So I tried Marriott customer service, but they also told me Starbucks is the one who should do the unlinking,... i honestly don't buy it, cuz I also had Delta account linked to starbucks, and Delta was able to do the unlinking on their end for me to link my new Starbucks account (old Starbucks account must be unlinked before linking new Starbucks account).... so i am just wondering if any Marriott lurkers out here can ask IT to unlink my old Starbucks account from my Marriott bonvoy account (so that I can link my new Starbucks account to my Marriott account)??
