Are you planning on leaving DOH airside with said goods? I am sure the rules are much different if you are. I have heard rumors that there are places you can leave alcoholic, duty free goods airside at DOH if you intend to go landslide, and then reclaim them when you depart. I am not 100% sure though.
Last time we flew QR J through Doha we spent the night in the business class lounge (forget what it’s called). It has lockers with keys, and I think you could easily leave the lounge and come back later and pick up your bag. We stored our rollaboards so we wouldn’t have to drag it around the lounge and into the showers and quiet rooms.
