Assuming that your miles are with SQ, not SA, this article explaining redemptions with SQ miles might be helpful. For 14,000 miles plus fees you can get a one-way intra-Europe or intra-North America Economy Class flight on Star Alliance carriers -- subject to award availability. Depending on the cash cost of such a flight, that might or might not yield good value for your miles.
