Flew IAD-Europe multiple times in the past year all in Polaris, all in odd row windows. On two of the departing flights, I found someone else in my seat. One guy told me the seats were all the same and I could take his (he had a middle section angled seat - he knew what he was doing) and the other asked if I could move so he could sit next to his family (he was in PE). The first guy moved when I politely told him that I wanted the seat that I chose and the FA had to be called for the second guy when he refused to move.
