Unable to select seat

Hi,

I'm travelling Amsterdam to AUCKLAND via Hong Kong booked on KLM's website on 1 ticket.
I believe my bag will be checked through. Pleas confirm?!
However, I'm unable to pre book my seat for the HKG - AUK leg on either the KLM or NZ website (I have both codes)

I'm flying J and have FB Platinum if that helps in anyway,
