I had the pleasure of flying JL4 to JFK yesterday, in First Class on JA-06WJ. 12 hours of absolutely flawless service from a wonderful and engaging cabin crew. It was my 2nd A350 First flight and I found it more enjoyable this time, perhaps in part because I didn't bother with or care about using a lot of the tech innovations (like gimmicky in seat speakers). I also preferred 2A to 1A which I had on JL12 back in May.

On the Salon front, at least 2 bottles of the 2013 were loaded yesterday as I finished off the first bottle (except for one glass to another pax) and then half of the 2nd prior to landing. Wondering if that 2nd bottle was for the return flight? Pre-departure champagne was Delamotte which I declined.
