I flew FlyDubai today TLV-DXB. I had seat 2A (window).

The guy already seated in 2B (aisle) kindly asked if I would change with his friend who was in 2C (the aisle across) so that they could sit together. I felt bad about this one, as I said “no” based on the fact that I really wanted my window.

But the guy in 2D did accept a switch. So the friends sat next to one another.

Both of the friends slept the entire flight.
Yep, I also recently declined a window -> aisle swap. Mrs. DYKWIA was very unhappy about that - but there is a reason I book(ed) the window seat and her story 'they switched our seats' didn't make any sense either. A/C has been the same for at least the past month with no equipment swaps.
