My understanding is this is functionality to uncheck yourself from online check in. Particularly useful if you want to change seats in the lead up to departure. The functionality has been in travel agent version of MMB for as long as I can remember so that they can peform last minute changes to tickets they've issued for you. It sounds like the ba.com interns are having trouble deciphering the correct version of MMB for the public domain and uploaded the links to the wrong version. Unless this is a genuine enhancement to MMB, expect it to have vanished by tomorrow morning. Another British Original.
