We booked a basic economy flight. If I add one checked bag to my booking, would I also get the extra ones due as a result of me being BA gold? If I had booked the "standard" economy, my allowance would be a couple bags of 32kg. I know it doesn't apply on BA basic economy flights, but would the benefit kick in once I pay for one extra bag?
