I was looking at that hotel too, but decided against it, since it didn't seem to be in as fun an area (Bal Harbour was very nice)...and had no beach. Could you describe the Diplomat though? (I'd be very interested to see the pros and cons compared to the Bal Harbour). Specifically...room upgrades, pool, local area, if they comped resort fee....etc. Thanks!
