My point is simply that the food offered on Alaska has really gone down hill. Feel free to disagree as you wish, but while I hope to maintain my status in 2025 American and Delta will earn more of my dollars.
I was pleasantly surprised by my preorder AA beef rib & cheesy mac meal last month, it's true.
But I can hardly say that AA's food is objectively better than Alaska's.
There have been some reductions on Alaska (notably, SEA-ANC meals have had a couple of cuts, obnoxiously). But overall, I'm quite happy with the meals--both F and Y--Alaska is putting together.
And I certainly don't think they've gone downhill, as long as you're not flying out of SAN with their inept catering contractor who cannot do anything right.
