No. Not confusing. There are two separate lines. Period. The signs are right after baggage drop, both in E and F. Maybe because I’m not a US Citizen and in the past had to wait 1+ hour at TSA because only one scanner was available for noncitizens (see picture above) vs multiple lanes open for US Citizens I am very aware of this.
Only after I got Global Entry (and consequently TSA PRE) I am allowed to join the US Citizens line. Trust me, this didn’t make a lot of sense because as
flyerCO said, nationality doesn’t dictate the level of security, however, this is the reality.
