The dreaded new supper menu on the 11-hour BA247 from Heathrow to Sao Paulo last week with a departure time of 21:15. Went for the grilled tiger prawn salad which was nicely presented, but the prawns themselves were soft and mushy and not the best quality. The portion size was somewhere between a starter and a main. As a starter, it would've been passable but as a main course it was underwhelming. Dessert was also the tiniest panna cotta in a mini canape-sized bowl (compare it to the blackberry for perspective). Thankfully, I was aware of the supper menu being served so I made sure I had enough food in the lounge before boarding. Overall, I went in with low expectations and I was still disappointed! Will be sending in a complaint.
