You nailed it. QF ticket and metal multisegment. Still fighting QF for the refund. They will not explain the downgrade. Was a C full fare ticket with Saphire status and they still downgraded. Ticket was issued by travel agent. They have been unsuccessful as of yet getting a refund. Since I purchased the ticket in the US I nay need to sue Qantas in small claims court to get their attention. I had five flights with them all in paid unrestricted business (just the one downgrade)l. Mediocre experience. Oldest 737s I have flown in a long time. Worn and often dirty. Good that I don’t fly them. Makes me appreciate CX.
