You won't like the answer: 15 hours to Sydney and then another 3 to Cairns.

And to those whose "LIKE" button doesn't work (which includes me) -- it's a well known bug that occurs frequently in this forum. Seems to have something to do with the forum software thinking it saw a hotel review.
